3 days to 21.12.12!

In 3 days time, its going to be 21.12.12. On that date, it is predicted to be the end of the world. Doomsday some may call it. So well known is that date that it has been talked about since early this year. In fact, National Geographic Channel has a special show on this called Doomsday Prepper which I find pretty interesting in a humorous way! Do I believe that the world is going to end this 21.12.12. Nope. Nada. I can bet my bottom dollar on this that it ain't goin' to happen. My grounds? I have the Bible to stand on for my belief! Nobody knows the hour! Not even Jesus. Only the Father knows the time.(Matt. 24:36) However, Scripture does tells us the sign of the end of times but NEVER the actual date. For me, anyone who predicts the date for which this world would end is either a heretic or a cult. Definitely not from God! A reporter friend of mine did a newspaper cover on doomsday 21.12.12. She has asked for my views of it. I have given my take on the matter & have said what I've mentioned earlier on. & yes! Yours truly was mentioned in The Star newspaper on the 16.12.12. albeit a very short comment. Anyway, today I was watching DayStar TV and in one of the program, the same question was posed to a Bible Teacher. Is the world ever going to end? Like the scene pictured in Armageddon? Whereby there's this fire & brimstone raining from heaven, destroying the structure of the earth? The answer? No! When the teacher said that, suddenly, I had a light bulb moment. Eureka! He is right! A lot of people picture the end of the world as the world being hit by a meteorite, then earth is totally destroyed. But its not so! There will be major natural disasters. There will be pestilence & war. But there will be no earth destruction. Why? Because after the whole world having a blackout, guess who's coming? Jesus! I know that Jesus will come back again as that's what the Bible tells me. And where is he going back to? This earth of course! Since He's coming back to the world, then the world's just gonna be FINE! I always think how is this earth going to go on with its bad condition, pollution & all. & why would Jesus want to come back to this polluted & dirty place? Well, Jesus is the One with the miracles. who know? He may come back & heal the world, turning the place healthy & beautiful again. Who knows! After all, He's the best Man for the job! Oh yeah...if you believe that 21.12.12 is gonna be doomsday, please do hand over your cars, house, cash, assets for me. Hehehe...

Book spree & CD Spree!!

Yesterday, went gift hunting at Doulos. Supposedly to be gift hunting, nangga2x, bought stuffs for myself. Hehehe..... So at Doulos, I bought 3 books. 1 book is a gift for my coming X'mas party. 2 books for myself. All for RM24. Stinking cheap right? If I buy these books at the local bookstore, it'll cost me somewhere around RM25-RM35 per book. Yeah....dirt cheap. When I thought I was done with my book spree, I came across one section of the ship where they have an offer. 4CDs + 1 doulos bag for RM20. Or 3 books + 1 Doulos bag for RM20. Wowsers! How can I resist!! Off I went & managed to grab 4 CDs. American made CDs are of good quality man. One of the Cds that I picked was a Christian rock group called Decypher Down. Green Chords-State Level 2009

This is the reason why I drove all the way to Sibu. To lend support to my brother's school marching band, the Green Chords. Before this, I was never a fan. Err wait..before this I've never heard of marching band at all. Of course this all changed after my sibs joined Green Road Sec. School's marching band. See the guy with the tuba. That's my younger bro, Calvin a.k.a Ju. When he first started, i.e. at the age of 13, he was selected to play the tuba. Mind you, he was the sole tuba player for 4 consecutive years. Imagine, he's controlling the bass side of the band...all by himself. Mind you, among all of us siblings, he was never musically trained. It was because of band that he begged my mum to enroll him for piano class..at the age of 14, which is quite late..just to master theory.He plays the tuba..and he has no musical theory background. Hi everyone in the blog community, Well, this is so awkward... Blogging seems to be the 'in-thing' these days. I've been thinking about joining the blogging trend(not that I'm a person who just want to delve into the 'in-thing')but I've been hindered due to thoughts like what am I going to write about & what if I get into trouble with the government(ya right..far fetched am I?). I guess I'm just blogshy, if there's such a word. If it weren't for Daron, my pastor, friend & brother(pastor, these words are mushy & you know how hardcore I am in expressing my feelings..haha!) I won't be doing this. He's the one who encouraged me to blog. & lo & behold, I'm doing this! So viewers, I hope my blog would be entertaining & inspiring. Hopefully, I can get some good out of this.
