Took this shot while doing my runs at Reservoir Park. I love the sunset scenery. The colors. The shadows. The reflection of the trees and lights on the lake waters depicted in the photo. Looking at this, the song 'When morning comes & evening fades, You inspire songs of praise' came to mind. Its been awhile...me and music...me and making new songs. Perhaps this is God's way of reminding me to keep on writing songs for Him.  Well...I need a boost to inspire me.  Its true what Darlene Zsech have said in her devotional for the 'Revealing Jesus' album. We need to spend time for creativity...other than God, family, ministry. I suppose the reason for giving our time for creativity is to avoid the idle mind. After all, the saying goes that an idle mind is the devil's playground. As I write this, I hope and pray that I'll get pumped up to make music again. Or maybe...I just need to soak into God much more. That too....

In every relationship, there will be the riffs, the conflict, the misunderstanding. When it happens, I need to remind myself that people make mistakes...people need room to grow...so what if they are wrong & we are right? We uphold the right with much love and grow. Having done that, we leave the other with the opportunity to learn from the mistake. Sometimes, leaving a relationship for a certain issue which isn't significant is not worth it. Should I close one eye to a wrong or be dumb about it? Of course not! Please do tell...but say it with love. Say it once or twice, but if our advise falls to deaf ears, just drop it & continue to pray that the other would eventually wake up one day.  And when we're the wrong party, lets not react negatively. Do eat the humble pie. Check our life and choose to do the right thing. After all, I acknowledge that there were many things that my friends & love ones were right about..Boy am I glad that I accept their advise and

Pork burger, pork chops with sausages & lamb cutlets.     Sparkling water passion fruit flavour Believe me. This pub restaurant is called Oinks! There's nothing that I don't like about this place. From the decoration to the lightings. The entertainment offered - football enthusiast would definitely enjoy watching their favorite team while sipping their choice beer and with food too. Don't shy away from bring your family here. Coz this is the place which is family friendly. Then there's the food. Ooh la la! Picture pigs prancing in heaven! Its that jolly good and the best part is it doesn't burn your pockets. I always leave this place a happy, satisfied woman. Like in Psalms 128:2 "You will enjoy the fruit of your labor." Oh yes I am...always while I'm in Oinks!  My highest recommendation & I swear by it is the Grilled Salmon. It is served with yummy mash and a creamy white sauce which I guess may have a tinge of cheese in it.

Love the vibrant colors and make believe props. How I wish to live in a place like this! My paradise. My place of escape from worries, trial and pains. A place which is a far cry from this broken and dysfunctional world. Ok. Ok. Maybe the world ain't that bad after all. Its what you make out of it right? And I found this prayer timely put at the bottom of my page: Lord, teach me that it is never a sin to be happy. It is happiness that you desire for me, and it is happiness that I shall find when I follow you. Amen!

This year is such a good year. I get to watch 2 Christian concert which forms part of my bucket list. The 1st concert for the year was Paul Baloche's 'The Same Love' tour. Then there was the Jesus Culture tour in April. I only come to know of Jesus Culture's concert in March after Paul's concert. It was such a leap of faith for me coz its gonna cost me. As I was afraid that this opportunity may not come again, so I decided to take that leap. Go for it! It was a decision which I never regretted. I enjoyed myself. The music was good and more importantly, I was blessed! Its so timely that this concert was held during the nation's most tumultuous time. Love the greens and the flower pot designs. Credit goes to my mum of course. She's the one with the green thumb. Me? I just admire them. Some of the pots are antique pieces. Such a blessing to have kept them since the days of my late grandparents. A good idea to spruce up a bland space is to place potted plants in the area. Choose  pots of unique designs and crafts and give some thought to  the type of plants used. Arrange, re-arrange... till the ensemble just pops out and somehow whispers to you and say 'am I a beauty?'. See the earthen vase supporting the flower pot? That's a pot on top of a pot move. Well, so much for going over the top in gardening!

 Decided to wear this polka dotted dress to work topped with a black cardigan. Just so bored with the normal office wear of blouse and pants or skirt. Was torn between the 2 shoes. I chose the flats coz its comfortable. May look blah but hey..don't judge a book by its cover. Its a Steve Madden production. Feeling motivated!
