New Year's 'Big Bash'

You guys might be thinking that the big bash refers to the CNY festival. I wish!! So wish!! But no...since Friday, I got a bash in a meeting. Come Saturday, also got hit , left, front, centre...at the same meeting. Then at night, I expected to enjoy a nice dinner. But again...no...got hit as well.

Wah, wah , wah. What is this la? Dear God, I need grace. Let me just leave my bashers into Your Hands.

I'm hoping that this bash would do me good.

Credits? social standing? Is it?

As the year 2012 is coming to an end, I find myself having to make this decision...either to stay on or leave an old post...either to pick up a new post, which is a new thing/role for me. My superior said this to me when I conveyed my intention to leave a particular post. "He said: Don't leave. Its good for your credits & social standing." He has his point but is credits & social standing all that matters in life? I get that credits & social standing is important & all. But I just don't think that it should be the SOLE consideration. So, in coming to my deliberation, the essential point of consideration for me right now is this: whether it is my passion or not? Is it worth fighting for, taking into light my believes which is tied in to my passion. So I chose to take up the position whereby I can make a difference. Book spree & CD Spree!!

Yesterday, went gift hunting at Doulos. Supposedly to be gift hunting, nangga2x, bought stuffs for myself. Hehehe..... So at Doulos, I bought 3 books. 1 book is a gift for my coming X'mas party. 2 books for myself. All for RM24. Stinking cheap right? If I buy these books at the local bookstore, it'll cost me somewhere around RM25-RM35 per book. Yeah....dirt cheap. When I thought I was done with my book spree, I came across one section of the ship where they have an offer. 4CDs + 1 doulos bag for RM20. Or 3 books + 1 Doulos bag for RM20. Wowsers! How can I resist!! Off I went & managed to grab 4 CDs. American made CDs are of good quality man. One of the Cds that I picked was a Christian rock group called Decypher Down. I stumbled across this band while I was copying songs to my MP3 player from my bro's PC. I like what I heard & I always wonder how is their full album like. Recap of 2009

I'm trying to recall what happened to me in the year 2009. Let me see: There were 2 deaths in my family. I lost a beloved uncle and a nephew who died a few days after he was born. Ironically, both of this dearly departed are of the same household(granpa & granchild). I attended 3 weddings. 3 of my cousins got married. Sadly, the first wedding I attended, ended sometime 3/4months later. To think that this only happen in Hollywood. I met an important political figure: The CM of Sarawak - yup, in the flesh! I made new friends from Singapore, Indonesia & ...Sibu. Such a pleasure. I went travelling with friends to Miri. Cool! TCC finally moved out into a premise of its on. I was made a partner this year. Woo-hoo.. I went travelling with my family members & relatives to KK. Splendid! Went street carolling. Never was a fan of choir but what do you know, I like it & yes!
