Spiritual overhaul

Just got back from Prayer Meeting (PM). It was quite unusual tonight 'coz there were more than the usual number of people. Felt very encourage & I hope next week, more will come & join us to pray.
I have this deep sense that God is drawing His people to draw near unto Him. & that its a time for cleansing. I can't wait for the cleansing streams seminar. I need a spiritual overhaul...big time!

Book spree & CD Spree!!

Yesterday, went gift hunting at Doulos. Supposedly to be gift hunting, nangga2x, bought stuffs for myself. Hehehe..... So at Doulos, I bought 3 books. 1 book is a gift for my coming X'mas party. 2 books for myself. All for RM24. Stinking cheap right? If I buy these books at the local bookstore, it'll cost me somewhere around RM25-RM35 per book. Yeah....dirt cheap. When I thought I was done with my book spree, I came across one section of the ship where they have an offer. 4CDs + 1 doulos bag for RM20. Or 3 books + 1 Doulos bag for RM20. Wowsers! How can I resist!! Off I went & managed to grab 4 CDs. American made CDs are of good quality man. One of the Cds that I picked was a Christian rock group called Decypher Down. I stumbled across this band while I was copying songs to my MP3 player from my bro's PC. I like what I heard & I always wonder how is their full album like. Love is?

When I met you, I thought you were the best thing ever happened to me, Well that's the thing, you see, When one falls into what one may think as 'love,' When one's 'in love', Even their smelly armpits is like fragrant, But would one sense the odour? Not when in a blind state, one won't! Pray to God, That one realize the mess after weeks, God forbid! That one snaps out of it after years, Cause by then times gone a-wastin', Opportunities of better ones come passin', The small scratch turned into a deep wound, Which may turn incurable like cancer. 9th July 2011- may it be a history & His-story!

9th July, 2011. Will it set history? Yes, I'm talking about the much talk about Bersih 2.0 rally to be held in Kuala Lumpur. When I heard the news that the rally would be held at the stadium instead of at the streets, I was relieved. Unfortunately, my sense of relief was short lived as today it was announced that the group was denied the use of the stadium on a basis of which, I need not state here in detail, is pretty much absurd. My only hope & prayer is for God's divine intervention in this. I'm reminded of a friend, Al Tony, who has sang a song "Pharaoh, Pharaoh, let My people go!" in one of my church service. The song talks about the story of Pharaoh refusing to let God's people go. Pharaoh's heart was hardened and because of this, Pharaoh's nation had to go through God's Hand of punishment until he finally gave in. What are we to do then?
